In August of this year, Vassar College invited alumnae and Tradewinds author, Arushi Raina, to speak on the topic of The Versatility of a Vassar Degree. Having recently received the 2022 AAVC Young Alumnae/i Achievement Award from the college, she was invited back to discuss not only her young adult novel When Morning Comes, which began as a Vassar thesis, but also her role as Director of Commercialization at Praxis Spinal Cord Institute.
“Arushi Raina epitomizes the eminence and gravitas that the young alum award represents,” said Sharon Davidson Chang ’84, P’19 a member of the selection committee. “Her business acumen at such a young age is off the charts.”
