Laura James

is an award-winning artist and self-taught painter of Antiguan heritage. Working as a professional artist and illustrator for many years, she is best known for her illustrations for the Book of the Gospels: a lectionary, published by LTP Press. She was born in New York City, where she now lives.

Talleen Hacikyan

is an artist, teacher and writer based in Montréal. She has been a member of the printmaking studio Atelier Circulaire since 1985. She has been featured in over fifty solo and juried group exhibitions internationally, and her work has been added to several private collections, including the National Bank of Canada.

Julie Flett

is a Vancouver-based artist and illustrator. She is a recipient of the Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize as well as a nominee for the Governor-General’s Award.

Pierre Pratt

has been illustrating and writing children’s books for over two decades. He is a three-time recipient of the Governor-General’s Award and has won the Mr. Christie Book Award, among many other prizes. Pierre lives in Montreal and Lisbon.

Philippe Béha

is an internationally acclaimed artist. He studied fine arts in Strasbourg, France. A member of the prestigious Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, he has illustrated more than 100 books for children. He lives in Montreal.

Rachel Berman

is an established Canadian artist living in Victoria, BC. Her work is exhibited at the Ingram Gallery in Toronto, and the Westchester Gallery in Victoria.

Stefan Czernecki

Blair Drawson

studied drawing and painting at Ontario College of Art and has exhibited his paintings worldwide. His work has appeared in such publications as Esquire, Time, Saturday Night, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone and The New York Times. Blair currently resides in Toronto with his wife and two children.

Sigune Hamann

studied in London and Berlin where she was the student of the celebrated Quentin Blake. She is an illustrator and recently designed the set for the Vienna Opera. Sigune lives in London, England.
