is a Vancouver-based independent illustrator and graphic designer born and raised in Mexico City. She moved to Canada in 1998 to be with her husband Dave, whom she met while participating in an exchange program at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 1995.

Elisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from La Salle University in Mexico City, and worked in Mexico City for a number of years at the renowned publishing house "Artes de Mexico". After moving to Canada, Elisa began to explore her illustration skills further. Since that time, she has worked on the design of many children’s books and a number of other illustration projects.
