About the Author: 

Charles Demers is a Vancouver- based comedian, author, and playwright— including of three plays for young audiences. A staple of the Canadian comedy scene, he’s known for his work on shows like CBC’s The Debaters. As a voice- over-actor, he provided the voice of Walter the Slug on the Emmy-winning Netflix preschool series Beat Bugs, based on the music of The Beatles. Beyond stand-up, Charlie is an accomplished writer of books that explore politics, fatherhood, and West Coast life.

About the Illustrator:

Dorothy Leung is the accoladed illustrator of several books for children, including The Cloud That Stuck and The Keeper of Stars. Her work has appeared in various publications, including The Walrus and The Globe And Mail, and has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration in New York. Dorothy is based near Tkaronto/Toronto.
