Emily Seo joined journalist Gloria Makarenkonew, of the CBC News team, on this year’s International Day of Women and Girls in Science to speak about her best-selling book The Science of Books. A compellingly crafted story, Seo describes how each chapter has a science lesson, concept, or theory interwoven into the narrative. This teaches young readers as they move through the story. Also admired in this interview are the beautiful drawings of illustrator Gracey Zhang.
